Sheikh Kifah Mustapha is the Imam and Director of The Prayer Center of Orland Park. He is the appointed representative for the Ministry of Religious Affairs in Lebanon (Darul Fatwa) on behalf of the Lebanese Community in the USA. Sheikh Kifah Mustapha serves as the Chairman of the Illinois Council of Imams and Scholars. He also served as a member on the Advisory Boards of: The Mission and Spiritual Care for Advocate Health Group in Illinois, The Council for the Center for Faith and Community Health Transformation, and The American Islamic College in Chicago.
Sheikh Kifah Mustapha is a recipient of the CAIR-Chicago Mobilizer Award and Arab American Business & Professional Association’s Outstanding Leadership Award. He is an experienced public speaker and an active participant in interfaith relations. He has bachelor’s Degree in Shari’a from American Islamic University in VA, USA. A Diploma of Shari’a from Beirut Islamic University (Azhar Beirut) in Beirut Lebanon and a Master’s Degree in Islamic Studies from Global Theological Foundation in IN, USA. He stepped on stage as a stand-up comedian in 1999. Over the course of his career, Regan has strong fan base in South Africa, Australia, China, Malaysia, Zimbabwe, Philippines, United Kingdom and the United States. After working in Hollywood for 14 years, he has appeared in four feature films, two commercials and is most recognized for being the double for Chris Tucker in Rush Hour 2.
He has now founded an international production company, HALALYWOOD, a platform for Muslims worldwide to tell our own stories through films, original TV series, cartoons and documentaries. Halalywood will provide opportunities for Muslims of all ages who are seeking opportunities in acting, writing, producing, and directing, without compromising Islam.
